River Records Limited was originally launched to manage the extensive archive of unique audio recordings from the vaults of Radio Clyde and Radio Forth in Scotland.From the mid 70's through to the 90's both stations recorded and broadcast thousands of live concerts and radio sessions featuring many of the UK's leading international rock and pop artists as well as hundreds of Folk, Classical, and Jazz performances. In the two years since the label's inception the catalogue has grown to just under one hundred titles comprising live concert material and re-issues of classic albums from many other international artists.More recently River Records has secured the licensing rights to the music video recordings from the archive of Scottish Television and several of these programmes have already been released on DVD. River Records is currently working with artists,record labels and music publishers in our continued aim to bring these unique recordings into the public arena.
